Certified welder TIG welding aluminum on a mobile job

Aluminum Welding

Aluminum welding, on-site and ticketed.

Aluminum is unforgiving — heat management, cleanliness, and technique separate a weld that lasts from one that cracks. Our ticketed welders bring the mobile TIG rig to you.

TIG-certified

Clean, controlled aluminum welds — not a MIG shortcut on the wrong metal.

Thin to thick

From 1/16" trailer skin to 1/2" plate — right amperage, right filler, right result.

Prep done right

Wire wheel, stainless brush, acetone — contamination is why aluminum welds fail. We don't skip.

Ticketed welders

CWB-qualified operators. Documentation available for insurance and inspection.

Aluminum jobs we handle on-site

  • Aluminum trailer decks, ramps, and side rails
  • Fuel tanks, hydraulic tanks, and pressure vessels (non-code repairs)
  • Boat hulls, transoms, and railings
  • Truck boxes, headache racks, and toolboxes
  • Industrial ladders, catwalks, and stair treads
  • Custom aluminum brackets, mounts, and one-off fabrication

Why aluminum needs a specialist, not just any welder

Aluminum conducts heat 6× faster than steel. It doesn't glow before it melts. It grows an oxide skin that melts at nearly 4× the temperature of the base metal. A welder who's great on steel can — and will — blow through aluminum, contaminate the puddle, or leave you with hidden porosity that fails under load.

Our aluminum work runs through TIG-ticketed hands, with the right shielding gas, the right filler alloy for the base, and prep that actually happens instead of getting rushed.

Emergency aluminum repairs

Cracked aluminum trailer at a job site or roadside? We roll for emergency aluminum too. Pricing scales with urgency — see the emergency page.
